Events planned in Sark during 2017
Sunday 5th March – Sark Archive Film lunch. The next in the occasional series of popular lunches followed by the showing of Sark archive films. £30 per person includes 3-course Sunday lunch plus the film show afterwards, (price includes a £5 contribution to the Societe Serquaise old film archive). Lunch at 12:30pm. Film show commences promptly at 3pm. Reservations are essential.
Saturday 25th March – “Call My Sark Wine Bluff” evening. A new event for Stocks and Sark. A 4-course special dinner menu accompanied by a selection of 3 wines to identify from clues – some spurious (!) – given by three eminent local wine connoisseurs. Drinks in the Smugglers Bar from 6.30pm. Guess the wine and dinner from 7pm. £40 per person. Reservations are essential.
Wine Tasting Wednesdays – Every Wednesday from Easter week to late September throughout the popular summer months. Pre-dinner wine tasting (5 of our French wines) from 6:30pm followed by a 3-course set dinner menu. £45 per person, reservations are essential.
21st to 23rd April – Chi Running & Yoga weekend – This exciting new event for Sark will be lead by the renowned Chi & Yoga teacher, Hannah Kirkman from the UK.:
“Chi Running uses principles from t’ai chi to help runners at all levels to move more mindfully and efficiently, improving performance and reducing risk of injury. And when running feels easier, it’s also more enjoyable!”

June 2017 – to be confirmed – ‘Taste of Sark‘ food & drink festival featuring special dishes from 1st to 30th June 2017. Try our prize-winning Sark seafood dish. For full details please see the Sark tourism website; www.sark.co.uk
August 2017 – to be confirmed – ‘Sark Cream Tea Dream’ month. Similar to previous years but coordinated via a Facebook social media campaign this year. Please see the Sark visitor centre website: www.sark.co.uk
Saturday 6th August – Sark National Day or Sark Fief Day. Celebrating the 452nd anniversary of the granting of the Sark Fief by Queen Elizabeth I in 1565. Please see the Sark tourism website: www.sark.co.uk
August 2017 – date to be confirmed – the annual St Peter’s Church Fete & Garden Party in the Sark vicarage garden. To be confirmed.
15th to 17th September 2017 – Sark Roots Festival – date to be confirmed. The second annual festival celebrating Sark’s sense of community & unique lifestyle. Final details and performers to be confirmed.
