A perfect beach for families with an easy walk, and a sheltered bay. The beach does loose the sun in the late afternoon, and is south east facing.

La Coupée

La Coupée

A spectacular natural isthmus that joins Big Sark to Little Sark. There are 200’+ vertical cliffs on each side, with great views of Guernsey & Jersey.

The original fisherman’s harbour. One of the smallest in the world. Good for swimming, harbour wall jumping and picnics. There are mooring buoys outside the harbour wall.

A granite obelisk in memory of a group of ancient Sark mariners who lost their lives in a squall at sea.

Natural heath land area with great open views to the west, north & east. Also a curious rock carving created by Buddhist monks.

Vantage point with fabulous views to the east. The Sark lighthouse is located here but it is not open to the public.

A natural rock promontory separating Dixcart Bay & Derrible Bay. 200’+ sheer cliffs on three sides.

A very small natural harbour approached via a steep & winding descent. The nearby mooring buoys are popular with visiting yachtsmen. 

West Coast

Gouliot Caves

Gouliot Caves

Spectacular cave system beneath the Gouliot headland. Officially designated RAMSAR site. Rare white sea anemones can be found in the innermost jewel cave. Caution: the decent is steep, narrow & hazardous. Check tides.
